What Swedish Strippers Need To Know About Their Audience
With the rise of e-wallets and online currencies, the Internet is proving yet again one of the most viable economic solutions. Whether someone is looking to start a business from the ground up or simply attract investors, there is no better option than the Internet. There is not only the potential to reach a global audience, but the Internet oftentimes provides a safer, easier, and more effective solution. Like it or not, right at the top of all this success is the adult content industry.
Understanding Your Audience
It wouldn't matter if you approached the CEO of a Fortune 500 company or a freshman at a community college majoring in business. They would both likely provide the same answer or some kind of similar solution for growing any business. Streaming, clothes, shoes, movie memorabilia, or true crime fanatics, you won't attract people willing to open their wallets unless you and your brand appeal to them. Even when the wealthiest philanthropists give thousands to a cause, it's often a cause that's near and dear to their hearts.
To put it as simply and plainly as possible, understanding your audience is essential for any business. Unfortunately, this can be a bit of a problem when it comes to the adult industry because of all the secrecy shrouding it.
Not One In The Same
Not that long ago, before the marvel of modern science and research, all adult viewers could have been clustered in one group. However, that is no longer the case. In fact, the latest data points to there being three distinct types of viewers. Believe it or not, there is only one of these groups that is considered healthy. The three groups are compulsive, distressed, and recreational.
Recreational Viewers
According to the latest polls, recreational users account for nearly 3/4s of adult content viewers. This group supposedly watches an average of 24 minutes of adult content a week. Even more, telling is the fact that this group is also mainly comprised of women in relationships. So the bored housewife routine might not have been a routine after all?
Swedish Distressed Viewers
Despite recreational viewers in Sweden claiming a third of the adult content audience, distressed users were a close second. Just like the name suggests, this group's most defining attribute is their emotional distress. This group watches right around 17 minutes a week.
Compulsive Viewers
In accordance with their classification, a compulsive viewer would be someone who compulsively watches adult content. The real question is what constitutes compulsive? Well, according to the most recent polls, this group clocks in a record-breaking 110 minutes per week. That's slightly less than 2 hours of porn a week. While this group makes up 11.8% of the total participants, the most shocking thing is the fact that the group is comprised mostly of men. As you likely guessed, researchers are classifying recreational users as the healthiest viewers.
Finding Your Niche
It will only take spending a few minutes in a Svenska Strippor business to realize that content today is all about classification (niche). If you are familiar with streaming video games, you likely already understand this mentality. For instance, there are the sports fans, the action/adventure fans, the role players, and the shooters. For the sticklers, these categories can be broken down even further.
Well, the same is applicable in the Swedish adult entertainment industry. You have viewers that want to watch girl on girl, there are the animated lovers, and the views into older women, older men, and the list could go on and on. The most important thing is to distinguish your brand. You can and should offer a variety of content, but the biggest successes will likely come with finding one genre and making it your own.
